Our story

Some stories simply happen.

Ours decided to be written.

It hasn't followed a straight line, and maybe that's exactly why it makes sense. We've learned that love doesn't arrive whole: it takes shape in small yeses, in patience, in choosing each other again when it would be easier not to.

Our faith is the place we always return to. When God is at the center, everything else finds its place.

We're driven by curiosity. We love getting lost in new cities, collecting landscapes, making things with our hands, finding beauty where others walk right past it. We believe dreams deserve more than admiration — they deserve to be lived.

Mitzi and I want to share this first stretch of the road with the people who have been part of our journey. Because some presences don't just accompany a story — they transform it.

Classic Elegant

No color rules: solid, vibrant, whatever feels like you. Just make sure it looks well put together.

Her

Long or midi dress. Avoid beach dresses.

Him

Suit or blazer with dress pants; tie optional.

Avoid anything too casual: jeans, sneakers, t-shirts. A good accessory always helps.

Quick guide

First time in Oaxaca?

How to get here, where to crash, and what you can't miss.

01

Arrival

Oaxaca Airport (OAX) is 15–20 min from downtown. Inside the terminal you'll find official counters for taxis and shared vans — from the airport to downtown, Uber-type apps don't work.

Free pickup

To make your trip easier, we're offering free transport from the airport to downtown — limited spots, subject to advance confirmation.

Email us at hola@mitziyalfredo.com

Include your flight and arrival date/time to reserve your spot.

Options on arrival+

Taxi especial

Direct to downtown in ~15 min. Approx. $200–300 MXN per ride (fits up to 4 people).

Shared van (colectivo)

Shared with other passengers, more budget-friendly. Approx. $135 MXN per person.

Recommended areas+

To make the most of your stay, we recommend booking in one of these areas.

Jalatlaco

Oaxaca's most photogenic, artsy corner — specialty cafés, murals and local vibe, still close to it all.

Centro

Right in the middle of it all — bars, restaurants and the Zócalo steps from your door.

Colonia Reforma

A commercial, family-friendly area with a more traditional feel — good restaurants, everything within reach, and a neighborhood warmth of its own.

San Felipe del Agua

Up in the foothills, green and quiet — for anyone craving fresh air and epic views.

La Cascada

A quiet, relaxed residential area close to downtown — easy and low-key.

03

Where to eat

Our favorite spots — coffee shops and restaurants you shouldn't miss while you're in town.
